Short Description
1. Wetting agent: Is a non-polar surfactant that reduces surface tension and leads to an increase in pressure distribution so that the wetting of color particles occurs faster, so it makes the particles color easily enters the dispersion medium, and at the same time it also acts as a solvent to delay drying. The calculation of wetting agent content in paint depends on the solid content (PVC).
2. Dispersant: The dispersant adsorbs onto the pigment surface and thus maintains the proper distance between the pigments through electrostatic repulsion or steric displacement, thereby reducing the tendency to agglomerate
Characteristic
Liquid form, light yellow color, characteristic odor
Application
EDAPLAN 930 is
designed for dispersing organic and inorganic pigments, as well as fillers. EDAPLAN
930 reduces the viscosity at low shear ranges and stabilizes the pigments against
flocculation. Furthermore it increases gloss and color strength of the coating.
